Adults of all ages come to my door everyday. If they have seen other healthcare professionals, we will discuss what worked and did not work so we develop a sense of how I will best serve their most pressing needs. Often, people find my approach refreshingly different than any treatment they have experienced in the past. One reason for this might be that I keep my caseload small so my care is truly customized and responsive. My focus is to ensure clients feel like they are in an exceptional healthcare partnership.
My style is to be very down-to-earth and yet professional and thorough so we develop a roadmap of how to obtain long-term solutions. Too often in the behavioral health field, treatment providers are either not caring enough or not knowledgeable enough about what the most effective treatments are for a variety of conditions or problems. I specialize in using credible methods that will give clients the most potent solutions while saving them money and time. While I work with well functioning people who simply want to achieve their potential (business leaders, athletes, talented people) I also have helped people with very severe conditions get better and go on to live a fulfilling life. Regardless of who I work with, my commitment is to help people acquire a toolbox of powerful skills they can apply to growth challenges such as how to prevent and manage anxiety that may keep them from living more confidently. My work with adults is completely customized to their needs, I do not use any generic or “out of the box” approaches.

It is important for adults to understand that there are evidence-based treatments for many emotional/behavioral problems but that it can be hard to find practitioners who use these methods. One major problem in my field is therapists often believe that caring in itself can heal people. Unfortunately, this is rarely true. Rather, problems are best solved in a lasting way when they learn specific techniques and skills that precisely address their issues. Higher levels of training also matter because one of the hardest tasks is to account for each person’s unique personality in the treatment process. This is especially vital in my field, much more so than in human medicine. My track record of having published numerous articles and personality assessment is one example of how I am committed to accounting for the uniqueness of each person’s personality so that treatment is optimally successful.
