Does your child have a screen addiction?

Tags: , , ,

One of the most widespread problems is children overusing technology, resulting in what some are considering a pandemic of “screen addiction.”   There is a possibility that eventually there will be a clinical diagnosis that relates to pathological use of technology.  In my opinion – given the severely impairing facts over use of technology has on quality of life – this is one of the gravest problems among youth today.   Look for our future blogs on this topic that will appear in August and September.

For now, as a parent, you face another school year where you must have a firm set of ground rules regarding technology use.  The following article is a good primer for you to read before you develop those ground rules:

In the coming weeks, look for our blog where we give you a set of reasonable technology ground rules we have developed after working with hundreds of children over the last decade.
