Upcoming AZBA presentation: Powerful Tactics to Prepare Your Client to Undergo Psychological Evaluation

Date & Time: November 17th, 2023 (9a-9:30a)

Location: Hacienda del Sol Resort, Tucson, AZ

Dr. Brunner has been providing professional forensic assessment and counseling services in Tucson for over 20 years.

Presentation Summary: Amidst the increasing complexity of family law, attorneys have pressing needs to know how to best prepare their client to effectively communicate to the forensic psychological evaluator. Parent litigants commonly present with significant barriers limiting their ability to effectively get their story across.  Many puzzling questions arise, such as how can you ethically use forensic mental health consultants (FMHC’s)?   And more fundamentally, before the attorney wades deeper into the case, how can they check up on their own biases to see how their own history may limit their ability to help their client effectively present their story to the evaluator?

This talk will address these contemporary and critical issues, while helping the attorney see through the eyes of the forensic psychologist evaluator.
